STAND Performing Arts Ministry has moved from Kroger Drive in Fort Worth to a new location off Keller Parkway.

The details

STAND is an established community theatre and performing arts training program that provides a variety of classes like dance and vocal lessons.

“We take pride in writing original, Biblical musicals alongside our talented staff and educators, while also showcasing a diverse season of theatre favorites selected from around the country,” a spokesperson with STAND said.

While many lessons at STAND are for children in K-12th grade, there are some adult classes available, as well.

The ministry will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 31 with a preview of its performance of the 1986 musical, Into the Woods. There will also be an open house Aug. 2 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. for those interested in registering for classes.

What else?

STAND is a member of the Live Theatre League of Tarrant County, which is a nonprofit organization created to insure the future of live theatre as a cultural asset to the community through promotional, collaborative and educational endeavors, according to its website.
