Baylor Medical Center at McKinney is expanding as crews construct a 75,000-square-foot Baylor McKinney II medical office building to keep up with demand. Officials expect the building to open in September 2016.

The second medical office building will be located on the Baylor Medical Center at McKinney campus, 5252 W. University Drive, near Baylor McKinney I, a 114,924-square-foot, four-story medical office building that opened in 2012.

“Our campus was built with expansion in mind, but the timing of the expansion has been earlier than anticipated, which is a positive,” said Scott Peek, president of Baylor Medical Center at McKinney.

“The building will be full of physicians who are new to the campus as well as existing practices that need more space than they currently have. It will be a wonderful addition to our campus that allows for even more growth for the future.”
