Cathay Pacific will make daily trips between Hong Kong International Airport and DFW Airport on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in late October, according to a news release.
The airline currently flies that route four times a week, which launched in April, according to previous reporting.
“The launch of the new route in April received incredible demand and overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers,” said Chris Vanden Hooven, senior vice president Americas for Cathay Pacific. “As the only nonstop service connecting Texas to Hong Kong, we recognize the opportunity to provide even greater convenience for travelers, complementing the long-standing cargo operations between North Texas and Asia.”
Vanden Hooven said the trip from DFW Airport To Hong Kong is 16 hour and 40 minutes, while the trip from Hong Kong to DFW Airport is 14 hours and 15 minutes.
“Dallas Fort-Worth is a critical gateway for travelers and businesses in the region and was a key milestone in Cathay Group’s journey to reaching over 100 passenger destinations worldwide,” he said.
