A closer look
Town officials plan to repair segments of sidewalk along Parkview Drive and Durango Drive and update 11 additional sidewalk locations this summer.
Trophy Club town staff identified multiple sections of sidewalk requiring removal and replacement due to deterioration, safety concerns or ADA non-compliance, according to city documents.
According to council documents, work includes 13 projects in all, with notables projects being the refurbishment of the concrete trail between the two schools and completion of the sidewalk on Junction Way, near the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District treatment plant.
The $150,000 project will be handled by Aledo-based Manning Concrete as part of a contract with the city of Grapevine, according to city documents.
The town of Trophy Club entered an interlocal agreement with Grapevine in June 2016, which allows the town to piggyback on Grapevine’s contracts. However, Trophy Club can not authorize more than $150,000 per year as part of the agreement.
