Colombian airline carrier Avianca will launch service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Bogotá, Colombia.

Service will start on May 26 and will feature flights four time a week on an Airbus A320 that holds 180 passengers, according to a news release.

The airline website shows flights will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday to El Dorado International Airport.

“We continue to strengthen connectivity across the Americas, offering our customers more options to travel directly between the United States and Colombia,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s sales director for North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe in a press release. “We are excited to give travelers a new way to reach Bogotá from Dallas, adding to our 21 routes between the U.S. and Latin America during peak seasons.”

According to the DFW Airport website, Avianca operates out of gates 6-16 in Terminal D.
