Transportation update: SH 121/I-635 interchange widening


NorthGate Constructors crews have opened three new bridges this summer: the northbound SH 26 bridge to SH 121, the eastbound Bass Pro Drive bridge and the southbound SH 121/FM 2400 bridge to I-635. Two of the previous bridges have been demolished already. Demolition of the old southbound SH 121/FM 2499 bridge to I-635 will continue into September. Crews have also switched traffic onto new pavement throughout various sections of the project, including the northbound SH 121 frontage road at Bass Pro Drive and the Bass Pro Drive intersection.
