Crews have recently finished switching traffic to new pavement on the north end of the project heading southbound. Both the Fawkes Lane tie-in and the Beam Road tie-in at FM 1938 have been reopened, and stop signs along the project have been removed. Other recently finished work includes the retaining walls, driveways and sidewalks on the north end of the project. The screen wall has been substantially installed, with panels on the east side of FM 1938 near Lovegrass Lane. Crews will now focus on installing the remaining irrigation and landscaping items and completing the striping and permanent lighting installation throughout the project limits. There are a few items still to complete on the screen wall at the south end of the project, officials said.
