SH 26 widening Phase 2

On the SH 26 project in Colleyville, motorists can expect to see construction activity continue south of Centerpark Drive, including bridge work at the Little Bear Creek bridge and work on the east side of SH 26 near Brown Trail and Centerpark. Construction activity throughout the rest of the project will include work at various locations on the west side of SH 26 between Centerpark and John McCain Road. Lane closures throughout the project limits are possible from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., weather permitting, and SH 26 could be reduced to one lane at times. The project consists of the widening of SH 26 from four lanes to six lanes with raised-curb medians with-left turn bays, continuous sidewalks and improved signals.

Pleasant Run Road reconstruction


GCS Transportation Updates August

The city of Colleyville has begun reconstructing Pleasant Run Road from Shelton Drive to John McCain Road. The project consists of rebuilding the road with the addition of ribbon curb and trails, upsizing of the existing water line, the addition of a sanitary sewer and improvements to the drainage system along the corridor. Pleasant Run Road from L.D. Lockett Road to John McCain will be closed to southbound traffic.

SH 121 expansion


GCS Transportation Updates August

In August crews are continuing concrete pavement work on the southbound main lanes at the south end of the project near SH 121. Crews are also resuming concrete paving operations from Grapevine Mills Boulevard/Sandy Lake bridge to the south project limits of the northbound side. The project is expanding SH 121 from four lanes to 10 lanes between FM 2499 in Grapevine and the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Lewisville.

SH 114 widening


GCS Transportation Updates August

As of August all lanes are open on SH 114 between Kirkwood Boulevard in Southlake and Trophy Lake Drive in Trophy Club. Crews are working on finishing the  SH 170 overpass and starting the sound wall. The project is expected to be complete six months early. The project adds one lane in each direction, widening the freeway from four to six lanes while also constructing main lanes and an overpass at Parrish Lane for SH 170.
