The city of Colleyville provided an updated timeline for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant that will open at 5150 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Construction on the new location for the fast food chain is expected to begin in August with a goal to open in early 2021, according to the city.

This new Chick-fil-A is expected to bring in $3.5 million in sales annually, according to the city. Initial plans for the restaurant first surfaced at a June 2019 City Council meeting.

Chick-fil-A is known for its original chicken sandwich and waffle fries as well as chicken nuggets, salads, lemonade and milkshakes. The restaurant also serves breakfast. www.chick-fil-a.com
