The details
Holt Farms is located on 11.8 acres to the southeast of the intersection of Bandit Trail and John McCain Road, according to city documents.
The neighborhood will have upscale, custom-built houses developed by Calais Custom Homes starting at $2.5 million, according to the statement of planning objectives submitted by Calais Custom Homes and the land planner, Sage Group Inc. The subdivision will have a cul-de-sac with an entrance on John McCain Road, per city documents.
Next steps include approval of construction documents as well as construction of public improvements, including the street, waterline and sanitary sewer lines, said Ben Bryner, Colleyville’s community development director. The process will take several months, and then houses will be constructed, he said.
Also on the agenda
Council also approved dividing up 1.7 acres into two parcels of land to allow for an office building to be built, Bryner said.
The land is located at 8098 Precinct Line Road, and 0.9305 acres has an office building on it, while the other 0.7485 acres is undeveloped, he said. The plan is for the undeveloped land to have an office building similar to what is already developed.
