Mayor Jeannette Tiffany said the town is a community built on vision, perseverance and a sense of community.
“This town was built by people who believed in something greater than themselves,” she said. “Trophy Club has become a beacon of patriotism, service and civic pride.”
Former mayors and town council members turned out for the event, which took place before the town council meeting.
Several former mayors who served Trophy Club were on hand at the town hall, including the town’s first Mayor, Jim Carter, who served from 1985 to 1999.
The town displayed important documents and photographs from its history, including documentation from when Trophy Club was incorporated.

The town is being backed by Rep. Ben Bumgarner, R-Flower Mound, and Sen. Tan Parker, R-Flower Mound, to officially be designated as the Texas Town of Patriots.
Tiffany announced during the anniversary celebration that a bill has been drafted, and Bumgarner and Parker are working to get the bill passed while they are in Austin during the ongoing 89th legislature.
The backstory
Trophy Club was officially incorporated on January 19, 1985, and had become a premier residential and golf community in the '70s, according to the city’s website.
The most recent U.S. Census data shows that the town experienced a 12.6% growth in population from 2019 to 2023 and that the 2023 population was over 13,000 people.
