The Southlake Chamber of Commerce’s Oktoberfest will continue through at least 2029.

The special use permit came up for renewal on June 4, but prior to that, council voted for a five-year extension for the yearly fall event in Southlake Town Square on May 7.

The details

This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the event and it will be held from Oct. 11-13. The chamber will have access to the park property on Oct. 10 to set up the event.

More than 50,000 people attended the three-day event in 2023, according to city documents.


Oktoberfest guests can sample a variety of food, beverages and booths offering handcrafted arts and crafts, according to event website. Attendance is free with no admission and no parking fees and it is a dog-friendly event.
