Tim Raine has won the race for Place 6 on Colleyville City Council, receiving 2,898 votes, 59.02%, according to unofficial voting results.
Raine defeated his opponent, Tim Waterworth, who received 2,012 votes, 40.98%.
“It’s another affirmation by the voters of Colleyville that they want to stay on the same path that’s yielded one of the best places to live and raise a family,” Raine said.
In the May 4 election, 83,161 ballots, 6.52%, were cast out of Tarrant County’s 1,276,106 registered voters.

Tarrant County has released early voting totals related to the election for Place 6 on Colleyville City Council.
What you need to know
The city of Colleyville had three items on the ballot, including the election of the Place 5 and Place 6 council members, and a referendum on a recreation center. Kimberly Holt Gunderson is running unopposed for the Place 5 seat.
According to unofficial early voting results, Tim Raine leads with 2,262 votes for the Place 6 seat. His challenger, Tim Waterworth, has 1,563 votes.

In early voting, there were 56,491 ballots cast countywide, which represents 4.43% of Tarrant County's 1,276,106 voters.
Totals from ballots cast May 4 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
