A district news release states that prior to his new role with Carroll ISD, Park served as director of finance at Highland Park ISD, where he managed a $160 million general fund budget and directed critical financial operations such as payroll, purchasing and financial compliance. During his tenure, he helped the district earn several Excellence in Financial Reporting awards.
Executive Director of Communications Jeff Brady said Park will begin his tenure in the middle of March.
Prior to working at Highland Park ISD, the news release states Park worked in the following roles:
- Senior auditing roles with Dallas ISD and the City of Dallas
- U.S. Army Captain
