Grapevine-Colleyville ISD has numerous committees that offer opportunities for stakeholders to become more involved in the district. This year, district officials have created a website that will be a “one-stop shop” where interested individuals can apply for all open committees.

• Education Advisory Committee
• District Excellence Committee
• School Health Advisory Council
• Diversity Advisory Council
• Leadership Committee

What you need to know

According to the news release, anyone interested in joining one of the committees above can read their descriptions on the GCISD committee website.

The news release states that interested individuals should keep the following in mind:

• Applicants will be limited to serving on one committee per year.
• One application will be used for all GCISD committees.
• Once an individual completes an application, their name is placed in a pool of applicants for district leadership to reference when filling committee seats.
• The committee application form will remain open throughout the year.
