Ascension Coffee, an independently owned specialty coffee company, will be opening a location in Southlake Town Square this Spring, according to a news release from the company.

The cafe will include a full espresso bar, seasonal coffee flights and a slow bar highlighting rotating single-origin coffees from global producers, according to the release. The coffee is roasted in-house at Ascension’s Dallas roastery.

Ascension’s beans will also be available for purchase in the café or online, states the release.

Culinary Director Jason Connelly will create a food menu to include overnight oats, steak hash, pancakes and fresh-baked pastries, according to the release. Dishes will also feature Latin chicken and grain bowls, Mediterranean chicken naan and Asian noodle bowls.

“We’ve always believed that great cafés strengthen the communities around them,” said Jessica Keenan, president of Ascension Coffee. “Our goal in Southlake is to bring a thoughtful coffee experience that complements the energy of Town Square and offers neighbors another place to gather and connect.”
