What's happening?
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a $115,000 renovation is planned for the coffee shop along Northwest Highway in Grapevine. It will go into a spot that was vacated by Scooter’s Coffee Sept. 1, 2024.
Caribou Coffee serves handcrafted beverages such as coffee, tea, hot cocoa, espresso shakers, fruit shakers, latte and energy drinks. The coffee shop also has an all-day breakfast menu and lunch items that include the Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit, grilled cheese and asiago bagel with turkey and provolone.
What else?
State documents shows construction starts June 30 and will be completed Sept. 10. Work includes replacement of equipment, rebranding of building, adding more lighting and changing the drive-thru equipment.
Part of Panera Brands, along with Einstein Bros. Bagels, Caribou Coffee started in 1992 in Edina, Minnesota, according to its website.
