After eight years in business, Black Walnut Cafe closed its Colleyville location Aug. 12.

The chain store offered American fare for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a full bar, according to the company website. A social media post announced the store’s closing.

“We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you,” the post stated. “Your unwavering support, whether through a kind word, a regular visit, or simply sharing a meal with us, has been the cornerstone of our success. You embraced us from the very beginning, and for that, we will forever be thankful.”

Customers were encouraged to visit the locations in Allen and Coppell.
