Grapevine City Council approved plans Aug. 18 for the construction of a Volkswagen dealership at 2351 William D. Tate Ave., Grapevine.

4. Havertys to open new Southlake storefront in August


Havertys will open its new Southlake storefront Aug. 21 at 250 N. Kimball Ave., Southlake, which is a former Toys “R” Us location.

5. Fajita Pete's to open new location in Southlake


A new Fajita Pete's location is undergoing construction and is expected to open in September at 711 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 100, Southlake.

6. Umbra Winery closes Main Street location in Grapevine


Umbra Winery announced Aug. 3 it is closing its Grapevine tasting room, which is located at 415 S. Main St., Grapevine.
