The annual economic impact report from Insight Research Corporation was released on Feb. 4 by Hillwood, highlighting the job growth, business expansion and taxes generated.
Since opening 35 years ago, AllianceTexas has generated $130 billion in economic impact and the total investment has surpassed $16.3 billion in 2024.

“2024 was a phenomenal year for Hillwood, culminating with AllianceTexas reaching $130 billion in total economic impact for the North Texas region,” Hillwood president Mike Berry said in a news release. “Thanks to our forward-thinking outlook and partnership between public and private sectors, we’ve built something that will last for many decades to come. About 70,000 people come to work at AllianceTexas each day for some of the world’s most iconic brands. These companies, including Amazon, FedEx, BNSF Railway, Meta, Charles Schwab, Fidelity Investments, Deloitte and UPS, continue to be attracted to Fort Worth’s business-friendly environment and workforce.”
Put in perspective
AllianceTexas has produced $4.2 billion in total property taxes paid to local public entities in the past 35 years, according to the report.
AllianceTexas encompasses nine municipalities, four independent school districts and two counties:

- Haslet
- Roanoke
- Northlake
- Westlake
- Corral City
- Tarrant and Denton counties
- Northwest ISD
- Keller ISD
- Argyle ISD
The backstory
AllianceTexas has 60 million square feet of space between office, retail and industrial space, with 590 companies and more than 66,000 direct jobs, according to the economic report.
That number of businesses and size will increase with the addition of Alliance Westport 24, a 1.1 million-square-foot building that will open in 2025.
