Grapevine City Council and Grapevine Planning and Zoning Commission approved a special use permit for a church at their June 20 joint meeting.
The permit is for an expansion to Fellowship Church, located at 2450 Hwy. 121.
Included in the proposed expansion is an office building with a lobby, living room, kitchen, three offices, a study, a bathroom, a four-car garage, along with an 8-foot-tall wooden privacy fence surrounding the office building. The project will be a 7,591-square-foot addition next to the existing church.

Upon completion, the expansion will remove 56 parking spaces from the church's lot, but there are still 2,189 spots left, according to the church.

The office is intended for hosting visitors and guest speakers for special events, according to the church.
