A new single-story restaurant with an outdoor patio is being added to Southlake Town Square.

Southlake City Council approved a site plan at its Aug. 5 meeting from the Town Square’s long-term developer Cooper & Co. The addition will be located on the northwest corner of Reserve Street and Division Street, according to city documents.

Cooper & Co. has not yet announced what restaurant will occupy the space.

The total lot area of the addition is 12,161 square feet with the proposed restaurant being 6,145 square feet, the plan overview stated. The plan includes architectural and landscaping design additions.

Fort Worth architect Bennett Partners will be the designer for the restaurant. The plan shows the restaurant will have an Art Deco design, which is inspired by traditional commercial structures from the 1920s and 1930s. The facade will feature brick pilasters on either side of the main entrance, a canopy over the entrance, which will also wrap around the building to cover the outdoor patio, as well as stucco and decorative brick used for the main entry facade.

The plan also includes an area for a private garden next to the restaurant. Landscape design will be by Pacheco Koch, according to the site plan.
