The Heritage Colleyville and the Grapevine football teams will get a chance to play their first home games of the season in the Mustang-Panther Stadium on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5, respectively, even as stadium renovations continue, according to a statement from Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Superintendent Robin Ryan.

Renovation work was delayed due to inclement weather conditions, and GCISD administrators anticipate more work, particularly on the south side of the facility, will be needed before the project is complete, Ryan said in the statement. Access to areas still under construction will be locked off; however, fans and players will have access to the south side concession stand, restrooms and seating.
