The toy store moved into a space that was formerly occupied by Skechers, which moved to a new location.
Toys 'R' Us sells plush animals, Legos, board games, Hot Wheels, Funko pops, Barbies and more. Geoffrey the Giraffe is also back and is one of the first things customers see when walking into the toy store.
This is a return to the mall for the brand that shuttered its doors in March 2018 when the company closed all 735 United States stores, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Under new ownership, Toys 'R' Us has started opening stores, including a pop-up location inside Macy’s Backstage, inside Suite 127, at Grapevine Mills in the fall of 2022.
Florida-based Duty Free America operates a Toys 'R' Us location in Terminal A at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, which is owned by WHP Global and is the first location in an airport in the United States.
