Talking Animal Books in Grapevine will open a second location on Main Street in November, according to a news release from the business.

The details

The new location will be larger than the original spot off Worth Street in Grapevine. The second bookstore will include a coffee bar serving espresso, tea, pastries and wine tastings.

The new Talking Animal Books store will also be stocked with signature books featuring fiction, children’s books, horror and titles by local authors, according the news release.

“We’ve grown alongside our readers,” said Valerie Walizadeh, co-founder of Talking Animals Books. “This new location is more than just a bookstore; it’s a place to gather, explore ideas, and now we can enjoy coffee and wine while surrounded by stories. We’re inviting our community once again to help us write the next chapter."

The backstory

Talking Animal Books is the first and only independent bookstore in Grapevine, per the release. It was originally founded in 2022 and since then has hosted over 150 authors and organized more than 300 events catering to readers, writers, adults, children and creatives.
