NBT Financial, a bank with ties to North Texas for more than 50 years, will construct a new location at off Northwest Highway.
The Grapevine City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission passed the conditional-use permit request during the July 15 meeting.
What’s happening?
The bank will be going next to Dutch Bros Coffee and will be at the corner of East Northwest Highway and Boyd Drive, according to the presentation. The bank will have a dual-lane drive-through as part of a 4,000-square-foot building. The entrance to the bank will be through a shared entrance off East Northwest Highway and there will be 21 parking spaces provided, according to city documents.
The background
The Grapevine location will be the sixth retail branch location, Gary Cantrell, a member of NBT's board of directors, said in a presentation.
The bank started in the north Fort Worth area as The National Bank of Texas but rebranded to NBT Financial last year, according to its website.
NBT Financial has locations in Hurst, Burleson, Azle, Fort Worth and Willow Park. No opening date for the Grapevine branch was provided during the meeting.
