The details
The decision to close was due to rising rent and other increased costs, according to the post.
"My wife [Beth] and I have had [this store] for the last 10 [years]. We've enjoyed it and we're going to miss our customers, but we're ready to retire and that's what we're looking forward," owner Brad King said.
Though the store will be closing, King said starting June 30 Holy Grounds's coffee operations will move to Willow Cottage, a boutique off Main Street.
The store was open for 20 years total, with the Kings taking over in 2015, according to the post. The store sold Bibles, faith-based books and other Christian items.
