A going-out-of-business sale started Nov. 12 and discounts were as much as 85% in the finals days, according to a traveling advertisement vehicle that drove throughout Grapevine.
The store sold designer jewelry, engagement rings, watches and gifts, according to its website. The brand was also an official Rolex jeweler.
The backstory
Haltom’s first opened in 1893 by G.W. Haltom in Fort Worth and was family owned before being sold to Jack Miller and his wife, Ladye Ann Miller in 1983, according to the website. The store has been owned by the Millers since, who decided to close the three locations.
The Millers will work in their private offices with Miller Investments, according to a news release.
The Grapevine location was within the Grapevine Towne Center shopping center. There were also two stores in Fort Worth.
