Haltom’s Fine Jewelers, which has one location in Grapevine and two in Fort Worth, will be closing soon.

An exact date for closure hasn’t been announced, but the going-out-of-business sale will start Nov. 12, according to a recorded message.

“We’re opening the vaults and offering unique pieces that even our loyal customers have never seen. Everything must be sold quickly, so we are putting forth our best discounts,” owner Jack Miller said in a post on the business's webpage. “We are eager to celebrate Haltom’s legacy and blow people away with this final sale.”

The backstory

The jewelry store features designer jewelry, engagement rings, watches and gifts, according to its website. They are also an official Rolex jeweler.

Haltom’s first opened in 1893 by G.W. Haltom in Fort Worth and was family-owned before being sold to Miller and his wife, Ladye Ann Miller in 1983, according to the website. The store has been owned by the Millers, who have decided to close the three locations.

The Millers will work in their private offices with Miller Investments, according to a news release.

The Grapevine store is located within the Grapevine Towne Center shopping center. There is a store in downtown Fort Worth and one in west Fort Worth.

“We have always worked hard for our family, our employees and their families and our customers,” Ladye Ann Miller said in a news release. “While we are closing the stores and ending this chapter, we will remain a part of this community that is so important to us.”
