A grocery store has plans to open in Southlake this fall.

Dhruva Nagalla, co-founder and CEO of Hareli Fresh Market, said the Frisco-based store is expanding. The Southlake location will open this fall in the Gateway Plaza shopping center. Hareli will open a second location in Frisco, as well as Prosper and Celina in 2025.

“Southlake is a perfect fit,” Nagalla said.

Nagalla said the name of the business means festival of harvesting and "we offer everything fresh." According to the website, the store sells Indian, Asian, Hispanic and Middle-Eastern food and items.

He said he has heard from customers at the Frisco store who come from Flower Mound, Grapevine, Irving and Euless to get the groceries they want.

The former Buybuy Baby store, which is 23,100 square feet, is in the middle of a $250,000 renovation, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
