A car repair facility known for servicing high-end cars, Stuart’s Paint and Body, is planning to come to Grapevine.

Grapevine City Council approved a conditional-use permit for the automotive repair facility during its April 16 joint meeting with the planning and zoning commission. A rezoning and conditional-use permit requests were previously denied during the Feb. 20 joint meeting.

The overview

According to city documents, the repair facility will occupy more than 23,000 square feet and have 19 covered parking spaces for vehicle storage along the southwestern property line. Stuart’s Paint and Body will be located at 2051 SH 121.

The facility is known for working with high-end car manufacturers, including Ferrari and Porsche, but has technicians for all makes and models, Jerod Guerin, founder and CEO of Quality Collision Group, said during the Feb. 20 meeting. Once open, he said the Grapevine location should have about 25 employees.

Quality Collision Group has brands across nine states and has another location in Plano. Omar Oweis, the project’s representative with Cana Capital, said there were plans to execute a 30-year lease on the property with Quality Collision Group with a $10 million investment to develop the undeveloped property

No timeline was given for construction or an opening date during either public hearing before council.
