Ulete is bringing a multisports facility to Southlake.

The facility will offer a variety of services, Operations Manager Jake Miller said. Owner John Davis named the facility to reflect the idea of developing "The Athlete in U." Construction for the property started in March 2023.

The facility includes:
  • Performance training for athletes 8 to 18 years old
  • Personal training and adult fitness
  • Pro-Formance Training run by Shon Peace, who has worked at the collegiate level at the University of North Carolina and Shaw University
  • Combine and showcase events for hopeful college athletes
  • ChiroFit Advanced Recovery featuring Dr. Jack Alajajian
“It’s kind of a one-stop shop,” Miller said.

The details

The facility is on a 4-acre lot that offers 44,000 square feet of indoor fields and a batting cage and 34,000 square feet of outside fields, training wall and batting cages. The fields feature ProPlay Shock Pad, which helps lesson concussions, Miller said, as well as Legion NTX Turf. He said the turf is used by the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. The indoor facility has heat-reflected material that will help lessen the impact of the outdoor heat indoors, Miller said.

The fields will available for soccer, flag football, baseball and lacrosse. Miller said there will be leagues, tournaments and camps available throughout the year.
