United Water Restoration Group is expanding its presence in Dallas-Fort Worth with five new locations planned to open within the next year, according to officials.

What’s happening

Planned locations include offices in Arlington, Fort Worth, Dallas, Garland and Grapevine, Managing Partner Vincent Thomas said. The Arlington office opened in September, and the other four offices are expected to open in 2024, he said.

Thomas is leading the expansion as a franchisee. He’s a former insurance adjuster and operations vice president for United Water Restoration Group.

The details

“We had looked at the Dallas market about a year ago and thought this would be a great market, but we just didn't have many franchise prospects in the area,” President Bob Moore said.

When Thomas and his family moved to Texas, it gave him a chance to open his own franchise locations, Moore said.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is going to be a niche market for United Water Restoration Group, Thomas said. The new locations will offer a full range of restoration services in a market that is lacking, he said.

“We're gonna build a business here properly, and the business will come to follow it,” Thomas said.
