Belong Gaming Arenas is closed its doors at 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Ste. 108, in Grapevine Mills in mid-August.

The closure comes on the heels of the company’s decision to suspend its United States gaming operations, General Manager Angelo Rossi said in a community letter. United Kingdom-based global esports and technology company Vindex acquired Belong Gaming Arenas in 2020, according to a news release. It then rolled out plans for a widespread U.S. expansion in 2021 with Grapevine being the company’s second U.S. location and the first in North Texas.

The center allowed gamers to come together to watch, play and compete in their favorite game titles. It also provided the opportunity to play for fun or train like esports professionals, featuring top-of-the-line gaming PCs and next-generation consoles, according to the website.
