Tecovas will be opening a store in Southlake Town Square the fall, according to management of the outdoor shopping venue.

The Austin-based company sells handmade cowboy boots and Western-style apparel, according to its website. What started as an online-only retailer now has stores open in 16 states, including the recently opened at NorthPark Center in Dallas, according to a company representative.

The Southlake location will be at 300 E. Grand Ave., moving into the spot that Chico’s once occupied.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the store is undergoing a $400,000 renovation with an estimated completion date of Sept. 1. www.tecovas.com
