The North Face will be joining the list of vendors at Grapevine Mills, located at 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway.

Named after “the most challenging side of the mountain,” The North Face was founded in 1966, according to its website. Its brand’s mission is building the best gear for the outdoors, supporting the preservation of wild places and inspiring a global movement of outdoor exploration, per its description on the mall’s website. The store sells mens, women's and kids' outdoor apparel and footwear as well as backpacks and bags.

A temporary store will be utilized until a permanent space is constructed later this year.

Construction of the 5,805-square-foot temporary store began in February, according to the project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The temporary store is set to open March 17, per the mall website. There is no phone number available. www.thenorthface.com
