The 41st annual Main Street Fest will be held in Grapevine May 16-18 with a full lineup of performers.

The nonprofit event for the Grapevine Convention and Visitor Bureau will have live music, craft brews, family fun, shopping and dining experiences along Main Street, according to a news release.

The setup

Country music singer Neal McCoy, a two-time Music City New Entertainer of the Year winner, will be the headline artist at 9 p.m. at May 16. Country artist Colton Rice is opening for McCoy at 7:30 p.m. Downtown Fever is the headliner May 17, a band that performs classics to today’s hits, according to its website.

Western Rewind, Brad Thompson Band, Paladin and Warehouse, a Dave Matthews Tribute, will also perform, according to a news release.


What you need to know

New this year will be artists from Meow Wolf onsite with a pop-up gallery. Grapevine-headquartered Kubota will have a family-friendly event with consumer products at the Cotton Belt Depot district, according to a news release.

Another addition will be Steve Gryb, The Pied Piper Of Percussion, who will perform twice May 16 and 18 and four times May 17 on Texas Street.

Great Wolf Lodge will host daily KidZone dance parties from 11 a..m to 2 p.m.. Whataburger will provide hands-on art activities, while Dairy Max, Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium and Legoland will also have activities.

  • Talley Amusements Carnival will provide rides, including on a 65-foot Ferris wheel
  • Grapevine Art Project will have an art show inside Foust Funeral Home
  • Craft Brew experience event with a separate tasting ticket
  • Craft Brew pairing seminar presented by Rock & Brews, with a separate ticket
The details

During the Grapevine City Council meeting May 7, Council Member Leon Leal provided updates on Main Street Fest. Leal and his wife, Tracy, are co-chairs of the event.

Tracy Leal said the event has been advertised on broadcast channels in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Wichita Falls, Tyler, Longview, Waco, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Shreveport, Louisiana, to showcase the yearly event.

There will be shuttle service to the event from Grapevine Mills, near Pollo Regio, Grapevine Library and Convention Center. Those arriving by train will receive a 25% discount for using Trinity Metro TEXRail, using the GoPass Mobile App. There is also a $2 off admission for proof of ridership at the entrance gates.
