Colleyville hosted its holiday season kickoff with a tree lighting and a visit from Santa Claus.
The event featured balloon artists, hot chocolate, sugar cookie decorating stations and games. Children had a chance to write a letter to Santa and deposit it in the mailbox in front of Colleyville City Hall.
