North Texas Performing Arts, a nonprofit youth theatre, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of a new location in Southlake. Rehearsals will be at Dana’s Studio of Dance at 465 W. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake. Performances will be at the Palace Arts Center at 300 S. Main St. in Grapevine.

The Southlake location—which will cater to Southlake and Grapevine residents—will be the nonprofit’s fifth location and its eighth troupe. To mark the launch of the new location and troupe, NTPA will be producing "Annie Jr." at the Palace Arts Center from Nov. 18-21.

“We are excited to bring 30 years of educational youth theatre experience to Tarrant County and to empower the incredible talent there to have their voices heard onstage,” NTPA CEO Darrell Rodenbaugh said in a press release. “We are thrilled to make available this unique and powerful opportunity for a child to take the stage in the historic Palace Theatre in what will be a fun, fulfilling and safe extracurricular activity this fall.”
