Transportation update: Rockhill Parkway extension

Rockhill Parkway will be extended from Mahard to Teel parkways. The new roadway will have four lanes for part of the road and six lanes for another part. The project, which will begin construction soon, also includes installing a water line.

Timeline: July 2019-September 2020
Cost: $29.5 million

    Is this another road to nowhere or will it connect to the portion of Rockhill west of the DNT that is sitting unused?

    • This is the first step in the development of that area that includes PGA of America and Omni Hotels, so the connection to DNT is coming, but perhaps not in this iteration.
