The city began construction on the Ohio Drive and Warren Parkway multilane roundabout Monday morning.

For the next three months all lanes on Warren Parkway will be closed just west of Ohio Drive, and the lanes on Ohio Drive will be condensed to allow for construction. Different lane closures are expected in another three months.

The project is expected to be complete in January 2019.

The city and the Texas Department of Transportation are funding the $1.9-million project.

Frisco has three other multilane roundabouts: at Teel and Rockhill parkways, at John Hickman and Gaylord parkways and at John Hickman Parkway and Cowboys Way. Other roundabouts in the city have a single lane.
