Juneteenth Freedom Walk & Festival
The event will begin with a 4K Freedom Walk to promote health and wellness, and end with a free community festival featuring live entertainment, vendors and activities for the family to enjoy.

Soul Patrol Juneteenth Cycle Rally
Hop on your bicycle and head to the Soul Patrol’s annual Juneteenth Rally. Participants can choose from 10-, 26-, 32- or 56-mile routes.

Praising Unity in Our Community
Local churches will lead praise music and foster fellowship at this event hosted by the Plano Juneteenth Committee in collaboration with the Plano African American Museum.

This event begins with a parade led by Plano East Senior High’s state championship basketball team and coaching staff. The parade will also include community organizations, car shows and a procession of horses. Following the parade, the festivities will continue at the Plano African American Museum and the Boys & Girls Club in the historic Douglass community. Attendees can enjoy live music, horse rides, a bounce house, food trucks, a barbecue contest and more. These activities will be hosted by the Plano Juneteenth Committee in collaboration with the Plano African American Museum.
