Features Reporter

Dustin is a features reporter, and covers businesses and restaurants in Collin and Dallas counties. He joined Community Impact in June 2023 and previously covered the cities of Wylie, Sachse, Murphy and Princeton.

Government Reporter

Alex joined Community Impact as a reporter in December 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital and Print Journalism from the University of North Texas. She covers the communities of Frisco, Prosper and Celina. Prior to CI, she reported for the North Texas Daily and interned at the Denton Record-Chronicle. A fun fact about Alex is she owns a manual typewriter.

Education Reporter

Hannah covers education for Frisco, McKinney, Prosper and Celina ISDs. She joined Community Impact in June 2022 as the reporter for Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. Hannah holds a degree in journalism from the University of North Texas and began her journalism career at the North Texas Daily.

Editor

Samantha is the editor for the Frisco and Prosper-Celina editions. She joined Community Impact in 2021 as the editor for the Lewisville-Flower Mound-Highland Village editions. She graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2018 with a degree in journalism. Before joining Community Impact, she reported on education for the Victoria Advocate, a rural South Texas daily newspaper.
