Market at the Star

Shop the Market at the Star, which features over 40 vendor booths selling fashion, jewelry, home decor and other items. In addition to vendors, the market will feature live entertainment and family-friendly activities.PGA Frisco Feud

The Monument Realty PGA District is hosting its version of the popular game show “Family Feud.” Each team will consist of five players, and only individuals age 18 and up can play. Team names will be collected at 5:30 p.m.Dallas Startup Week

The University of North Texas Frisco campus is hosting Dallas Startup Week, the largest gathering of entrepreneurs in North Texas. The event will include over 200 speakers and multiple activities covering technology, marketing, investment and more. Noted speakers include Troy Aikman, Buzzball CEO Merrilee Kick, and rapper and investor Chamillionaire, among others.Parks and Arts Mixer


The Parks and Arts Mixer will allow community members the opportunity to meet with representatives from Play Frisco, Melody of Hope, Kaleidoscope Park, Frisco Arts Foundation and the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. The event will feature live music, art displays and updates on Play Frisco’s art and culture initiatives. Attendees will need to register.Community Plant Swap

The Frisco Public Library is hosting a community plant swap. Attendees should bring an indoor or outdoor plant labeled with the species name in a pot they are willing to depart with. Plants should be healthy and pest free and attendees will bring a new plant home with them.National Ice Cream Day

Celebrate National Ice Cream Cone Day at the Monument Realty PGA District with a cup or cone of ice cream from Margaret’s Cones and Cups. In addition, the store will serve cones with a various cones with bright colors and specialty dips.Write Club

Write Club meets monthly at the Frisco Public Library. Club members will discuss the writing and publishing process and share work and critique work with one another. Writers of all genres are welcome.Creature Teacher at PGA Frisco


PGA Frisco is hosting the Creature Teacher. Attendees will learn about various animals, including lizards, snakes, chinchillas and a kangaroo.Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day

The Frisco Heritage Museum is hosting the annual Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day, an event that gives attendees a glimpse of what life was like along the Shawnee Trail. The event will feature several activities, such as wild west shows, stagecoach rides and live music. Some activities will require admission.Frisco Art Walk and Run

The Hall Park will host the Frisco Art Walk and Run. The route will take walkers and runners through the Texas Sculpture Garden with pop-up musicians, dancers, actors and visual artists along the way.Oktoberfest

Enjoy authentic German food, domestic and imported beer, and live music at Frisco’s Oktoberfest celebration. The event is hosted by The Star in Frisco. Festivities begin with a traditional keg tapping, and the event will include keg-rolling races, brat-eating contests, live music and more.
