Early voting starts June 1 for the race for Frisco mayor.
Frisco residents will elect a new mayor in a runoff election. Early voting runs June 1-9, and election day is June 13.
On the ballot
Two candidates continue to vie for the mayoral seat in Frisco. Rod Vilhauer and Mark Hill topped a four-man race for mayor in May. They now face off in the runoff.
The mayoral race does not have an incumbent running because Mayor Jeff Cheney termed out of the position. It will be the first time Frisco will have a new mayor since 2017, when Cheney was first elected mayor.
The mayor is in charge of facilitating City Council meetings and only votes to break a tie.
Looking ahead
Residents in Collin County can vote at any polling location during early voting and on election day. Denton County residents can vote at any polling location during early voting, but must vote at their designated polling location on election day.
