Keith Maddox has won the race for Frisco ISD board of trustees Place 7, according to unofficial results. With all precincts reporting in Collin and Denton counties, Maddox has 8,353 votes, or 63.57%. Melanie Barrios-Jones follows with 4,786 votes, or 36.43%.

“Thank you so much for your support," Maddox said. “I am always open and transparent and look forward to working with [the FISD community] and working with the superintendent and the entire structure to do what we can for the students of Frisco ISD.”

Keith Maddox has held his lead in the race for Frisco ISD board of trustees Place 7 with 224 precincts reporting in Collin and Denton counties. Maddox has 8,353 votes, or 63.57%. Melanie Barrios-Jones follows with 4,786 votes, or 36.43%.

With 103 precincts reporting in Collin County and Denton County, Keith Maddox holds his lead in the race for Frisco ISD board of trustees Place 7 with 6,376 votes, or 63.02%. Melanie Barrios-Jones follows with 3,741 votes, or 36.98%.

Collin County and Denton County have released early voting totals for the Frisco ISD board of trustees Place 7 race.


The candidates are Melanie Barrios-Jones and Keith Maddox. According to unofficial results, Maddox has 5,584 votes, or 62.96% of the votes, and Barrios-Jones follows with 3,287 votes, or 37.05%.
