FISD is offering four new in-person classes.
  • Turf Grass Management will help students develop techniques and practices for careers in horticultural systems. The class is available for ninth-12th graders.
  • Practicum in Law is a capstone experience for 12th-grade students in a cohort sequence of a Law and Public Service Career Cluster within the district's Career and Technical Education.
  • Multivariable Calculus is available to 11th- and 12th-grade students who have completed AP Calculus BC and want to continue mathematical studies in high school.
  • Sports Medicine II will introduce 10th-12th-grade students to psychomotor applications of sports medicine and athletic training. The course provides lab instruction and evidence-based curriculum, along with out-of-class clinical experience while working with student athletes.
In case you missed it

FISD is launching a new virtual learning program, Frisco Flex, in fall 2026. The program gives families education options that include fully online enrollment or a hybrid in-person and virtual learning experience.

The hybrid program will combine online and on-campus learning. Students who take a minimum of four courses will be considered hybrid. This program is available for current FISD students and incoming ninth graders enrolled in Access Frisco.
