The overview
FISD offers full-day kindergarten at all elementary campuses. Students must be at least 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year to attend kindergarten.
New kindergarten students must enroll at their zoned campus unless a transfer request is approved during the annual transfer window from Feb. 17-28. Information on attendance zones can be found here.
Children currently enrolled in the district's Pre-K program are not considered new students and will apply during the annual student registration open that opens April 1.
Keep in mind
Registration for all students moving to Frisco ISD opens Feb. 11. Pre-K enrollment begins April 1 for the 2025-26 school year.
