Nearly 60 percent of voters have voted in favor of Frisco ISD's bond election, according to partial voting totals. More than half of voting precincts have yet to report their Election Day totals.

Frisco ISD's bond proposal getting support from voters, early voting totals show


Early voters supported Frisco ISD's $691 million bond proposition, according to early voting results.

So far, 60 percent of voters have voted for the bond, and 40 percent have voted against it.

The bond is being voted on in one proposition. The $691 million is expected to pay for a number of projects within FISD, including building new schools, maintenance projects and facility expansions.

The projects with the largest allocation of bond dollars include new facility construction, preventive maintenance and facility upgrades.

The proposed bond also allocates $43 million for a fine arts auditorium, which would be used for performances, classes and office space.
