Mio Gusto Italian Cuisine


The restaurant offers antipasta dishes, including house-made beef meatballs, baked clams and bruschetta, along with salads and soups. Pasta dishes include lasagna, ziti al forno, penne alla vodka and spaghetti. Mio Gusto also serves various Italian plates such as marsala, piccata and branzino, among other chicken and seafood dishes. Secret Agent BBQ Catering and To Go opened its first storefront location in Richardson. Founder Ian Fleming said his signature dish is brisket mac and cheese, alongside other menu offerings including brisket, ribs, turkey breast, pulled pork and handmade sides.Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe

Scoop N Scootery

The late-night ice cream place, Scoop N Scootery, is opening a new location at the Alliance Shopping Center in 2026. Chief marketing officer Isabella Sidoruk said Scoop N Scootery offers more than 75 signature ice cream sundaes until midnight. Sidoruk said the store is known for their cores and tunnels, where sundaes are hollowed out for a filling.Acquario Pizza, Pasta & Bar


A local Italian restaurant is opening a new concept in Keller next year. Guests at Acquario Pizza, Pasta & Bar will be able to watch wood-fired pizza cooked in the exposed oven and see handmade pasta crafted daily at an exposed pasta-making machine. The new location will have the ambiance of a traditional Italian trattoria, or a small Italian restaurant.Ascension Coffee

Ascension Coffee, an independently owned specialty coffee company, will be opening a location in Southlake Town Square. The cafe will include a full espresso bar, seasonal coffee flights and a slow bar highlighting rotating single-origin coffees from global producers.
